CALL FOR TALENT! MONICA MOREE TO HOST "FLINT HILLS PRIDE FUNDRAISER SHOW"
Saturday, May 17, 10:00 pm, Xcalibur Club. Seeking Entertainers: Drag Performers, Cabaret, Pretty Boys in Underwear, Karaoke Singers, Comedy & Various Talents willing to donate their tips, to take the stage one last time to benefit our Gay Pride Celebration. Please have your song selection on good CD (or check with the club ahead of time) and arrive in dress if necessary as there is limited space in the dressing room.

ANNOUNCEMENT: VOTING OPEN (till June 7th) FLINT HILLS PRIDE ROYALTY COURT
Voting has opened for the FHP Royalty Court & Pageant to be held Saturday, June 14 at The X. Ballots are available at the club and you may vote once per visit through June 7th. Voting will be for four categories. Vote for Prince & Princess: these are any male/female. Vote for King & Queen: these are any drag performers. All are recognized for outstanding contributions and who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make FH Pride successful. The top three in each category will be recognized as the Royalty Court and the King and Queen candidates will compete in the pageant. This is a popularity contest and the audience will choose the winners on June 14, the night of the event.

Hey All,

We are gearing up for Flint Hills Pride 2008. If you've never been, its a great time. This year it will be Saturday, June 28th 11:00 AM at Farnum Creek, Group Area #1, Milford Lake (same as last year).  It is a picnic with fun and games.  It is the only FREE Pride picnic event around (or at least that we know about). Check out the fun pics from last year.

And if you are the camping type, we are going to have the area Fri-Sun. There will be a small fee for camping to offset the cost of the area, but I promise it won't be very much.  AND BETTER YET... GET INVOLVED and your camping is FREE. If you volunteer for a committee and join in on the excitement of getting this event set up and ready to roll---you can pitch your tent for free!!

We are really in need of the following:
   --volunteers for committees
   --donations and sponsorships
   --suggestions for fundraisers and other ways to round up volunteers :-)
