General Membership Meeting March 06, 2010

• Meeting called to order by President Brandon at 8:04 pm.
• Motion by Mike M to approve minutes from February 2010 meeting, seconded by Colin.  Motion passed.
• Treasurer’s report- Cash on hand $2,809.43
  • $1,000.10 raised from Mardi Gras show
  • $11 raised from Kamikaze drag on 02/27/2010
• Flint Hills Pride Logo- Twelve logos were submitted.  FHP Committee chose design of tree with rainbow roots by Becky P as winning design for this year.
• Mr. / Mrs. Flint Hills Pride- Nominations are as follows
  • King- T Raynbow, Brock Hard
  • Queen – Brihanna Jayde, Monica Moree, Jamie Ray, Ty Woo, Allie Monet

Motion by Joleen to accept all nominations, with the exception of Monica Moree, since she will be out of town for the event.  Motion is seconded by Jessica and passes.

·          Pride T-Shirts- Motion by Brian for Darci to speak with GTM Sportswear about printing t-shirts with winning logo.  Motion is seconded by Joleen and passes.

·         Casino Night- Date is set for April 30, casino equipment has been secured.

·         Kristi Stremel- Scheduled to perform at Pride Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  Her fee will by $300.

·         Citizens for the Repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell have requested to attend Flint Hills Pride and an open invitation has been extended to them.

·         Johnny Webb Show – Scheduled for March 27, 2010.  Patti will design a flyer for the event.

·         Wine Tasting – Event tickets are now on sale for $25 / person.

·         Motion to adjourn by Colin, seconded by Mike M.  Motion passes.
