Flint Hills Pride General Membership Meeting - May 21, 2011

• Meeting called to order by president Kevin at 8:05 pm.
• Motion by Ron to accept minutes from prior meeting, second by Brandon.  Motion carries.
• Treasurer’s report –
  • Cash on hand $4,501.30
  • Recent fundraising results - $400 from JCTB Follies, $878 from Casino Night, $345 from tee shirt sales, $63 from Tommy Boi Back by Popular Demand show, $762 from FHP Royalty, Past and Present show.
  • Motion by Colin to accept Treasurer’s report, second by Kerrie.  Motion carries.
• Flint Hills Pride 2011 Schedule of Events –
  • Friday
    • FHP begins at 6:00 pm
    • Dinner at 7:30m pm, sponsored by JCTB
  • Saturday
    • Breakfast from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, sponsored by JCTB
    • 10:0 am - Vendor setup
    • 12 noon – Opening announcements by Kevin
    • Group photo
    • 1:00 pm – Lunch
    • Kristie Stremel will perform her first music set when guests begin queuing for lunch.
    • Allotment of time for guest speakers after Kristie’s first performance set.
    • Kristie Stremel will perform her second music set
    • Raffle prizes to be distributed
  • Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday will be the responsibility of individual FHP participants.
• Posters for the FHP 2011 schedule of events will be procured.
• Liberty Press will feature FHP on the cover for the Pride edition.
• Colin has confirmed procurement of ice, tents, audio equipment, and sanitation facilities.
• Cooking equipment will be provided by FHP members.
• Darci and Joleen will be preparing Saturday lunch entrée items.
• FHP will procure misc. paper items as well as bottled water
• Mark will provide 5-gallon water coolers
• A variety of raffle prizes will be procured and Jessica’s grandmother intends to donate a handmade afghan.  Raffle tickets for the afghan will be $3/each or two tickets for $5.
• Motion by Ron to spend up to $50 with Café Press on various Pride items for raffle prizes, second by Darci.  Motion carries.
• Motion to adjourn at 8:49 by Colin, second by Darci.  Motion carries.
